Leonhardt Ventures LLC, Lionheart Health, and CancerCell Prepare Provisional Patent Application for Bioelectric Expression of Thymulin Across Multiple Therapeutic Applications

Jul 31, 2026

Huntington Beach, California – July 28, 2026 — Leonhardt Ventures LLC, in collaboration with Lionheart Health, Inc. and CancerCell, Inc., today announced the preparation of a new U.S. provisional patent application covering novel methods and systems for the bioelectric stimulation and expression of thymulin for a broad range of potential therapeutic applications.

The patent application expands the Leonhardt portfolio of bioelectric medicine inventions by targeting thymulin, a naturally occurring thymic peptide that plays an important role in immune regulation, T-cell maturation, inflammation control, and healthy aging.

The invention includes proprietary bioelectric stimulation protocols, device configurations, treatment systems, wearable technologies, implantable systems, injectable biomaterial platforms, and combination therapies designed to safely increase endogenous thymulin expression or enhance thymulin-based regenerative therapies.

Potential applications described in the provisional patent include:

  • Immune system rejuvenation
  • Healthy aging and longevity programs
  • Cancer immunotherapy support
  • Autoimmune disease modulation
  • Chronic inflammatory disorders
  • Infectious disease recovery
  • Stem cell enhancement
  • Tissue regeneration and wound healing
  • Frailty and age-related immune decline
  • Surgical recovery
  • Vaccine response enhancement
  • Organ regeneration protocols
  • Combination therapies with Klotho, stem cells, exosomes, peptides, red light therapy, PEMF, exercise, nutrition, and additional bioelectric medicine technologies

The patent filing is intended to complement Leonhardt Ventures’ growing intellectual property portfolio focused on using precisely targeted bioelectric stimulation to safely activate regenerative proteins and signaling pathways within the body.

“Our vision is to develop non-drug approaches that encourage the body to produce its own regenerative molecules,” said Howard J. Leonhardt, Founder and Managing Partner of Leonhardt Ventures LLC and Executive Chairman & Co-CEO of Lionheart Health. “Thymulin represents another exciting biologic target that may help restore immune resilience and improve regenerative capacity as people age. We believe bioelectric medicine offers a unique opportunity to influence these pathways in a precise, personalized, and non-invasive manner.”

CancerCell is expected to investigate potential oncology applications of thymulin bioelectric expression, while Lionheart Health plans to evaluate its role within the company’s expanding multi-modality longevity and health optimization programs.

The new invention builds upon Leonhardt Ventures’ extensive bioelectric medicine intellectual property portfolio, which now encompasses more than 800 patent claims covering regenerative medicine, longevity, neuromodulation, cardiovascular therapies, orthopedic applications, stem cell enhancement, tissue regeneration, and expression of multiple therapeutic proteins.

Preclinical laboratory studies and future clinical investigations are expected to evaluate the safety and potential biological effects of bioelectric thymulin expression across a variety of indications. Any therapeutic applications remain investigational and have not been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

Scientific Background on Thymulin

Thymulin is a thymic peptide hormone produced by epithelial cells of the thymus and is essential for normal T-cell differentiation and immune regulation. Thymulin production declines with age alongside thymic involution, contributing to immunosenescence. Experimental studies have suggested thymulin may help regulate inflammatory cytokines, improve immune function, support tissue repair, and enhance regenerative responses. These observations make thymulin an attractive target for future bioelectric medicine approaches aimed at promoting healthy aging and immune resilience.
Below is a reference list of key peer-reviewed publications supporting the biological and potential clinical usefulness of thymulin, particularly in immune restoration, aging, inflammation, cancer immunology, neuroendocrine regulation, and regenerative medicine.
