Snap-8, or Acetyl Octapeptide-3, is an octapeptide composed of eight amino acids. It is a synthetic peptide derived from Argireline and is designed to inhibit facial muscle contractions, targeting the formation and deepening of dynamic wrinkles caused by repetitive facial expressions.

Snap-8 works by inhibiting the release of neurotransmitters that cause facial muscle contractions. This inhibition is similar to how Botox works, but Snap-8 provides a milder effect, reducing the appearance of expression lines and wrinkles without the need for injections.
